Reise / Vercelli
Die Hinfahrt war speziell: Vor und nach dem San Bernardino Tunell lagen rund 30 cm Neuschnee! Da wir aber erst nachmttags dort durchgefahren sind, gab es keine Verkehrsprobleme.
Wir sind über Nacht in Vercelli geblieben - es hat sich gelohnt! Vercelli ist die Stadt des Risottos!Durch Zufall haben wir in DEM Risotto Hotel / Restaurant übernachtet und am nächsten Tag gleich dort die feinen Risottos zu Mittag gegessen. Vorher aber ein Bummel durch die schöne Altstadt und den Mercato!
The way down was special: before and after the San Bernardino tunnel, there was quite some snow. But, since we were in the afternoon on the road, there were no traffic problems.
Over night we stayed in Vercelli - the city of the risotto! Just by chance we stayed in THE risotto Hotel / Restaurant. Of course we spoiled ourselfes with a risotto meal the next day. And we had a look at the old city of Vercelli and the market.
